Space bar not working on games

I can not get my space bar to work while playing certain games. I believe the game is using shockwave or Adobe. I searched multiple forums and none have had a resolve. I just purchased my MacBook Air 2017 version less than a week ago.

Space bar anomalies Since update to macOS Ventura I have a trouble with my space bar. For example when I'am working on Ms Office (word, excel and power point), to use space bar I have to press shift key + space bar together, otherwise will not work and will appear red or blue box which was never seen before (as attached). Youtube video size not working with Monterey Hello -- Macbook Pro 2015 Monterey 12 A youtube starts to play. I go to full screen. MacBook Pro - space bar won't work in Final Draft 12 Hi Anyone who uses Final Draft. I seem to have activated something re my space bar (at least I presume it's me). If I'm in Pages, the space bar works perfectly. I've been 'helped' by Final Draft 12 and they blame my computer. I've asked apple, they blame Final Draft. I've wasted a whole day, uninstalling, reinstalling, resetting defaults on keyboard and accessibility and of course restarting. I'd love some help please? Anna

That may be a function of the game.

You are entitled to 90 day telephone support from Apple. Try contacting them.
