AirPods lost last location doesn’t show anymore

I lost my AirPods but still have the case, when I realized they were lost I checked find my iPhone and saw there last location so I went to look at the last location and when I got there & checked the app again now the AirPods don’t even show up on find my iPhone what can I do? I want to make sure I get a notification if someone finds them and charges them too how do I do that

Lost my AirPods Pro and they don't show up on my Find my iPhone App I bought the AirPods Pro only a week ago. They've been working all week so they show up on Bluetooth but for some reason they don't show up on Find my iPhone app on the iPhone as well as iCloud.com. It's my fourth pair that I lose this way. At this point I wouldn't recommend buy AirPods - they're too easy to lose and there's no recourse to finding them. I'm not sure why Apple doesn't design a notification for when they're no longer in your. ear. This way if you're walking about and they happen to fall out, at least you'll have a better idea the vicinity to locate them. Further to this post - why wouldn't they show up in Find my iPhone when all my other devices (I have 10 apple products including an old pair of AirPods) show up. Very disappointed
