Lost Airpods and Find My device location problem

My airpods are lost. I opened Find My app and chose my airpods from the list. They show up on the map but are not in that location on the map in the Find My app.

How do I refresh/update the location of my airpods in the Find My app?

Hello,

If your AirPods are out of Bluetooth range, out of charge, or in the case with the cover closed, Find My won't give a current location. You just have to find them manually by looking for them. However, Find My may list the most recent location where they were last connected.

Good luck.
