How to remove an item from my dock

Instead of just tapping the app, put your finger on the app and keep it there until the apps jiggle, then move it off the dock.

The clock is because your iPad has noticed you have a tendency to use facebook at about the same time. If you want to remove the clock use this method:

• on your iPad, tap Settings
• scroll down and find Siri & Search
• find the Siri Suggestions section
• and then toggle off “Suggestions in Search” and toggle off “Suggestions in Look Up”.

To move an app, gently tap it until it wiggles then move to where you want it. I don’t know anything about the clock. I don’t have that.

And if you want to keep recent apps out of the dock, settings, general, multitasking and dock, turn off recent and suggested apps.

Then the dock will only have in it what you put in it
