Update to Mojave

I have an iMac 27 inch, mid 2011. I been getting som mixed feedback as to updating to Mac OS Mojave. Is this iMac compatible with Mojave? Trying to download from app store it says that I need Mojave 10.14 to update to Mojave 10.14.2, which I can't find. So, just a little confused?
