Earphone on iPhone 8 Plus

Good day, my earphones suddenly is not supported and worked just a few hours before, i cleaned the part that needs to be inserted into my iphone and my connecting part on the bottom of the phone!

The earphone are the original that came with the phone, i have never experienced any issues till now all of a sudden!

Please help!!!
