Opening Logic X mutes my external DSI Prophet 6 audio output

When I open the Logic X program, the analog output of my DSI Prophet 6 synth mutes. The synth is connected to my MAC via USB.

If I power cycle the Prophet, I can get audio to output again, but when I do anything in Logic, it mutes the output of the Prophet again. Logic is receiving MIDI data sent from the Prophet, even after its audio is muted.

The following is the MIDI data sent to my Prophet 6 when I power on Logic. Is there something I can do to not have this data sent to my Prophet? Thanks!

May be wrong but this seems like a Control Surface issue.

With logic not running.

In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder from the menu.

Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field. (note: type exactly) ----> ~/Library/Prefees

Press the Go button. Then delete the com.apple.logic.pro.cs file from the preferences folder.

The file will be rebuilt to defaults next time Logic starts.
