Over 2500 people said they had the same problem on the original post regarding this question and Apple hasn’t done ****. I’m thinking this is like the battery ploy to try and get us to buy a new phone and upgrade. Fix the ****** problem.
What troubleshooting steps have you taken? Have you tried a different AUX cable? Have you tried a different adapter? Have you checked to see if the phone will connect to the AUX jack in a different car?
Look up the original question I’m referring to titled:
“iPhone 7 will not play audio through car's USB port.”
I have tried literally every option offered in the thread. Thousands of people hit the “me too” option on the question and many like me saw no solution offered. I hooked up a friends phone to the car and it works fine. iPhone 6 works also, this seems to be an issue with only iPhone 7 models.
To be specific:
-tried new cable
-downloaded a song to music app
-tried new AUX adapter
-tried every reset except factory reset
-deleted all music apps and reinstalled
-ect.
sometimes it works fine for a few songs then stops registering and plays out of my phone speaker again mid song.
What did Apple tell you when you had them evaluate the phone?
