Mac Mail "Move to.." prediction stuck
Mac Mail "Move to.." prediction seems to be stuck to default filing in one folder. Does anyone know how to change the folder it seems to want to always suggest?

Hi inquiringmindswanttoknow,
Thanks for contacting Apple Support Communities today! It sounds like you not able to use the "Move To" button in Mac Mail as you would like.
Check out: Move or copy emails in Mail on Mac. Under "Move emails" you'll find " Mail may suggest a mailbox based on where you’ve moved similar messages in the past." If it seems to be stuck on one folder, you can try closing mail and reopening to see if it resets it. There should also be a down arrow that you can select a folder from your mail hierarchy if you don't agree with the predicted folder. Another option would of course be dragging the mail to the preferred folder.
I hope that helps.
Have a great weekend!
Hello and thank-you for you interest. However, I think what me and many many other Mac Owners are frustrated with is that we are looking for the answer to: how to directly reset the predictive folder feature. As is the case for many others, Mac Mail consistently predicts/suggests the wrong folder for filing. So is there a proper, guaranteed method to either reset or re-train the feature?
I agree with this requested feature and have been searching for an answer to this problem for at least a year. You should be able to easily reset and cancel all previous "learned" behavior and start over again.
