Itunes sync over Wifi to hard-wired PC
A previous answer to this question says:
- Make sure that your computer and iOS device are on the same Wi-Fi network. Syncing doesn't work over an Ethernet to Wi-Fi connection.
What exactly does "Syncing doesn't work over an Ethernet to Wi-Fi connection" mean? My PC does not have or need a Wifi connection. How would my phone or itunes know or care what kind of network connection my PC has? This makes no sense.
Previous iphones had no trouble syncing over Wifi with this PC but my new iPhone XS won't do it.
