Can't seem to set up me.com account in Outlook. Get "can log into IMAP server during the set up process. I am using two factor authentication and all is set up in my Apple ID and I have the two factor code that I incert as the password. What is the problem? What are the ports and server links? … imap.mail.me.com ??? port 993 /// smtp.mail.me.com port 587 encryption is SSL/TLS and STARTTLS respectively... Please help.

Apple Mail IMAP I just got the Mac Studio and I am trying to log into my IMAP mail on the Apple mail app. I put in all of the correct setting (Username, password, Host name) and it says "Unable to verify account name or password". I downloaded Outlook and put in all of the same settings and it loaded no problem. Is there an issue with the latest MacOS Ventura 13.5 and IMAP emails? These setting are currently working on my phone and iMac Pro.

cannot send mail username or password incorrect Currently aol.com email, in Settings, Account, Incoming Mail Server - Host Name: imap.aol.com Outgoing Mail Server - SMPT: smpt.aol.com Shouldn’t Incoming and Outgoing Mail Servers be the same? Could this be my problem? Also, What will happen if in Settings, under AOL SETTINGS - Reset All Accounts, which is currently Off, I turn it to On? In Settings, Mail, ICLOUD Account Information - Choose a default address when sending... , Allow Sending From - Should I select: ....... @icloud.com or. ........ @aol.com ?
