how to change the way imovie automatically moves the picture?
I have selected few pictures on I movie and when I play it it has its own pattern. Like, the first picture goes up to down second picture goes down to up , third picture goes focus mode erc. Where can I change this setting?

The random movement is occurring because you have your iMovie default Photo Placement preference set to Ken Burns.
Before creating a new project, open iMovie and go to your iMovie/Preferences. In the box that appears, set the Photo Placement to "Fit". That will stop the movement in photos added to projects.
For photos already placed in a project before you changed the preference, select the photo by clicking on it, and then click on the Crop tool (the one that looks like intersecting angles) in the tool bar in the upper right of your screen. In the selection box that appears, set the crop to "Fit" to remove the movement.
