Thunderbolt 3 Hubs and Audible Noise Issues

I have gone through three Thunderbolt 3 hubs trying to find one that doesn't generate audible digital noise on my brand new $5K+ Macbook Pro. To clarify, the noise is only present when I use either a miniDP and Thunderbolt 2 device or HDMI on any of the hubs. Sonnet, Dell, OWC all have the same problem. My guess is it has something to do with the way the hubs convert signals to Thunderbolt 3. How frustrating it is to live in dongle world.
