Problem with my iPad not being backed up on my 50Gig iCloud account.

I have a 50Gig iCloud contract. I have 28Gigs used on my iPad. Yet my iCloud account reflects I have only used 5Gigs of the 50! So I don't think my iPad is being fully backed up. Could it be because my iCloud account was set up on my iCloud email address yet my iTunes account uses my other email address. And if so - how can I sort this out. Thank you.

If there are two e-mail addresses, it could be that there are two apple id's. More than one Apple ID on a device causes confusion.

Use one and the same Apple ID for iCloud, iTunes and app store etc. That will keep everything in one place. Two Apple ID's cannot be merged into one unfortunately.

Then check your icloud settings (settings - your name- iCloud), to see if you are you using photo library in iCloud, you can tick boxes in your iCloud settings to back up things apart from a back up. Then you can also set it up so that it makes a regular back up.

I appreciate your reply - bur as I am not very computer or Apple literate, I still am unable to solve my problem. I think my iCloud account for which I pay something like $14 for 50 Gigs uses the same email address as my iTunes account for my cellphone and iPad. But I can't seem to get my iPad to back up properly (28Gigs or so) on the Cloud. When I look at my Cloud account on my PC it reflects that I have only used about 4Gigs of my 50. I cannot access my iCloud setting when my iPad is connected to the PC. Can you possibly give me a simple step by step instructions. Would be much appreciated.
