drawing tablets and Mojave problem

Since I upgraded to Mojave my Ugee tablet stopped working. That is, the tablet works and sees pen and mouse, but pen has no effect in applications. I can get it to work after uninstalling driver and reinstalling. But if the computer goes to sleep the cycle starts anew and I have to reinstall again. This seems not to be Ugee related but goes to all tablets. The advize given is to revert to High Sierra, but that is throwing out the kid with the bath water. It is obviously a bug in Mojave, and it would be nice if apple developers could fix this. It's not a driver fault as it does work after uninstall-reinstall. I have seen it affects Wacom, Ugee and most other tablets. A bit maddening that the only advize is to revert to previous operating system... Anyone with a better idea?

It works if I uninstall driver and reinstall that same driver. But when the computer awakes from sleep or restart I have to repeat the whole process of un-installing and reinstalling. Get's old really quick. I don't want to do that whole process five times a day.

I do have the latest driver, that would be the first thing I look up.

It's not only Ugee, Intuos and Wacom users have the same problem. So no solution right now... Makes our tablets useless. I am also not prepared to go back to a previous operating system. Mojave is supposed to make things better and faster. Going back to a previous operating system defies of having new systems and install them...
