iPhone locked

I gave my mom my old iPhone 5 to use. She created an account and then when she went to set up the phone she forgot her into and must have put in the wrong info. Now the phone is locked saying the iCloud account she tried to sign in with has a ifind account set up and I have to sign up with the iTunes account it was signed up with. I am the only person who ever had this phone under my account except when she tried to sign in under her account but was unsuccessful. Can I get help getting this phone unlocked.

Activation Lock Problem

If you purchased, were given, or found the device second-hand, then it is useless without the Apple ID and password to which it is locked. If you don't have it, can't remember it or cannot get it, then the device is useless to you. Try to get your money refunded, if you can, or take it to an Apple store for an exchange provided they will help you. If you are the original owner then take the device, a copy of your purchase receipt and identity proof to an Apple retailer where they may be able to assist you.
