LGTV will not connect to Mac book pro via HDMI

Trying to connect my LGTV to Mac Book pro via HDMI. I've tried everything and followed ALL the instructions on Apple's site to figure it out.

No matter which HDMI port I use on the back of the tv, the screen says No Signal. I've tried two different HDMI cables wthl no luck with either.

This use to work fine, no issues at all connecting HDMI.

Is this problem due to an IOS / Mac software upgrade - now Mac book pro and LGTV are no longer compatible?

Super frustrating.

Hi, mactravels2019 !

Given that you provided zero specific details (such as which MacBook Pro, and which LG tv and who made the cable, et cetera), the only thing anyone can offer up will be very generic assistance, such as resetting your SMC or resetting your NVRAM. You can see if Connect to HDMI from your Mac has any help, but until you toss us a bone or three there won't be much specific help coming your way.

Good luck !
