Something went wrong when setting up my iphone XR

When i was setting up my newly-bought iphonr XR, i was given the option to use the backup from my iCloud that’s backed up from my ipad. A text box appeared after selecting that option- the text box says some software update might be required, i clicked yes. After choosing that option, my iphone turnt to a white background with the black apple logo in the middle. Has been like that for almost 12 hours now (during that span, i kept the wifi turnt on and charged it for some time). And my wifi isnt that slow as well
