Print Driver wt Scanner --

I have The HP -CM2320nf MFP which is a multi function printer with fax and scanner. The Apple list of drivers does not offer the scanner. Even when going through the System Preference to set up the scanner I get and error message. Then going to HP to down load the driver, it does not have the latest OS 10.14.2 version as an option. iAny suggestions or recommendation would be appreciated.

Thanks

Is the problem only related to scanning? Is it possible to print and fax?

According to HP's support page https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/HP-color-laserjet-cm2320-multifunction-printer-series/3597338/model/3597358/swItemId/t2-100709-1, the latest "full feature" software for this model appears to be for Mac OS X 10.7. A firmware update utility is also mentioned at https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/HP-color-laserjet-cm2320-multifunction-printer-series/3597338/model/3597358/swItemId/t2-135574-1.

According to the HP support document https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-color-laserjet-cm2320-multifunction-printer-series/3597338/model/3597358/document/c05900790, "older HP LaserJet multifunction printers do NOT support scanning from HP Scan, Apple AirPrint, Image Capture, Preview, or Scan to PDF in OS X versions 10.9 and newer. To scan with these older printers, use the control panel."

If it is a scanning issue only, and if nothing else helps, have you checked whether a third-party solution such as VueScan (https://www.hamrick.com/) possibly could offer a working alternative?
