Samsung Model SE-208GB DVD Writer will not mount under OSX 10.14 Mojave

My Samsung SE-208 GB DVD writer will not mount on my 15" MacBook Pro (mid-2015, I7) running Mojave. It previously worked under earlier versions of OSX. Driver issue? Where can updated drivers be located if this is the issue?

DVD Writer not recognised My Samsung DVD writer, model SE-218, no longer works with "Catalina" (and has not worked since 10.13). I have looked (in vain!) for Mac drivers on Samsung's site, which, like most manufacturers' sites, is oriented towards new sales. (Once you've bought the product, their interest drops like a stone, or am I being cynical?) Are there any "workarounds"?

Problem solved with the release of OSX 10.14.3.
