Macbook Pro 15" (Mid 2015) battery dies at 24% after updating to MacOS Mojave

My mac has been acting weird since i updated from mac High Sierra to Mojave, the battery dies at 24% every time and drains really fast compared to before. Moreover, i have issues with the cursor disappearing only to reappear after i close the lid and reopen it which is really annoying (i tried changing the size it worked for a week or so and starting acting up again) , can someone help me?

From Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac - Apple Support:

"If you experience issues with sleep, wake, power, charging your Mac notebook battery, or other power-related symptoms, you might need to reset the SMC (System Management Controller)."
