Wifi issue on 2012 macs

I did that but there's no real solution offered other than restarting the router which doesn't do anything or contacting apple care which I doubt they'd even help with considering it's a 6 year old computer.

The two DNS servers which I didn't add are greyed out with no option to remove them and show 209.18.47.61 and 209.18.47.62. Maybe just there as examples or auto assigned by Spectrum? I'm in Buffalo. I've not tried to make a whole new account because it is happening on two separate 2012 apple computers and I've found no consistence in the interruptions. Sometimes its over and over within the same hour other times I can be on for a whole few hour session without a problem. Again I just know that based on jumping on my iphone or chromebook I have when it happens that it is isolated to the two 2012 osx machines and not a general wifi issue. I've googled this before and found some terminal command to try but I can't find the link I found now.
