I recently brought a MacBook Air 2017 and when I unboxed the MacBook Air I realised the hinge was extremely loose. If I would touch the apple logo on the back with very little strength the lid would fall and shut. I have booked a appointment with the Genius Bar in 2 Weeks. Are there any Fixes that I could try in the meantime?
Unfortunately there are no ways to tighten the hinge without the tools provided to apple certified repairers.
This means you can either take it to get tightened at a certified repairer or wait until your genius appointment and see if they can help.
