Logic Pro X Resampling: 48 to 44.1 with flex time

I accidentally recorded some songs in 44.8 kHz.

I want to resample it to 44.1 kHz.

I have used flex time on several tracks. When I disengage flex time on these tracks and then resample from 48 to 44.1, the audio is resampled successfully, however when re-engaging flex time in the new 44.1 resampled project on those particular tracks where I intended for it to be, the flex is not right and makes those particular tracks stretched or out of time with the rest of the song.

Is there a way to preserve my flex time edits into the new 44.1 kHz project without me having to redo all the flex edits?

A small note: I tried resampling from 48 to 44.1 with the flex time engaged on these tracks, but after the resampling was done the whole project was crazy sounding and it didn't work. That's why I found out you have to disengage flex time before resampling.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks kindly.
