I can see in my settings there is a way to set every alert to none, except the ringtone alert. I would like to set a contact’s ringtone to silent or none but there is no option for that. Is this apart of the update, because I was previously able to do this to my contacts?

I do want to delete or block the contact I just want there phone calls to be silenced when they call. They have a feature to hide alerts in the messages but I want to silence the contact when they call not block them. In previous versions, you were able to use none as a ringtone, now only alerts such as voicemail, text tone, or email, etc have the none option.
There is nothing you can do then. You can send feedback requesting a feature update - Product Feedback - Apple
Delete the contact and block the number. There is no "none" for ringtone.
Change Contact Ringtone to None
