Set up POP mail account under Mojave
I want to set up mail accounts under Apple Mail but the default seems to be IMAP and I definitely do not want an IMAP account. What is the detailed procedure to delineate a POP account?
Mac mini 2018 or later
When creating the account in System Preferences->Internet Accounts, enter the account details but put in some wrong password. Then you will be offered the chance to correct things, and that window you can select POP instead of IMAP.
