Mail preview pane disappeared and will not reload in the default, or classic layout.
In classic, I see the dot that should allow me to drag down the preview area, and it does not work.
In default, when I toggle over the area to drag over the panel the cursor changes, but the preview area still does not appear.
Everything is up to date.
Help.

Hover over the bottom edge of the window until the cursor changes to an upward arrow or the right edge of the window.
OMG I love you so much, and I feel like such an idiot. I was dragging and dragging, but evidently wasn't dragging far enough over!!! Uuuuuugh you the BEST!!!

In Classic View you need to drag the bottom dot upwards until the pane pops open. At least halfway up. In the default view, same thing except drag to the left.
