Using Apple Pencil in Ruler on Pages

Hi all.

I upgraded to Pages v4.3 on my iPad Pro 2017 and the Apple Pencil first gen behaves oddly in the Ruler. Yes, I can set a tab, but if I need to adjust the tab, I cannot move or remove tabs with the Pencil after I first set them. Also, I cannot move the left, right, or first line indent with the Apple Pencil.

Yes, other generic (non-BlueTooth) pens/pencils/styli work in the Pages ruler. But the Apple Pencil is a different story.

Hoping that the iOS upgrade from iOS 12 to 12.1 would resolve the issue, even this latest iOS update from 12.1 to 12.1.1 had no effect on the Apple Pencil functionality with the Ruler in Pages.

Please advise.
