Audio getting lost intermittently
Hi,
We are a company that bought two Macbook Air 2018 model. We have installed Windows 10 in both the macs. The issue is that Audio is getting lost randomly in both the machines. This happens once or twice every day and a restart solves the issue temporarily. Audio will be working for sometime and then all of a sudden, won't hear anything coming out of the speakers. No error messages are shown and it happens with all kinds of audio, be it the system notifications, playing youtube from a browser or using a media player to play audio files saved on the device. When the issue happens, if I plug a headset I can hear the audio. Likewise, if I had been using a headset instead of the inbuilt speaker when the issue occured, removing the headset will cause the sound to come out of inbuilt speaker. A restart solves the issue temporarily in all cases. This does not happen in OSX.
Here is what I have done.
Reinstalled Windows 10 in both machines.
Downloaded latest drivers using Bootcamp and installed them.
Reset PRAM.
Any idea what could be wrong and how to fix it?
Regards,
Avinash.
