I initially installed turbotax 2018 on Mac OSX 10.14.2. Install went fine, program verified, icon in menu bar...but it won't launch. Updated to 10.14.3 same problem. Tried everything, including download wifi and direct ethernet cable as well as install in safe mode. Turbotax customer support did not resolve problem. Also, Turbotax 2013-2017 will not launch either. 2008-2012 works. Any other advice?

Having same problem running under Mojave 10.14.2 under my signon. Tried running under my wife's signon, giving her admin rights and now Turbo Tax will run. So I guess I will do our 2018 taxes using her sign on. Not sure why it runs under her sign on and not mine. Turbo tax couldn't find problem and closed out my ticket.
TurboTax just released a new update, so hopefully this is fixed!
Apple support never got back to me on this issue as of today. I called the representative that helped me, but didn't get a call back. I just used the other user I created as stated above. At this point, it looks like I'll deal with it next year too.
Try rebooting and then rerun Etrecheck.
I had the same issue. TT 2013-2017 did not launch. I got TT 2018 to launch in Mojave but only after trying several times and waiting then it loaded. In frustration I ended up using Sierra on another machine.
I am running TurboTax 2018 Deluxe+State on a Mac mini 2018 (10.14.3). I installed under 10.14.2. No problems so far. As a matter of fact, I just launched TT (while reading your post) and got the latest updates installed and restarted. No issues. I have the Mac download version that I bought online from OfficeMax (I think) a couple of weeks ago when I snagged the $39.99 deal. Good luck.
Thanks. Still no go. Downloaded uninstaller App from App Store to make sure all versions that will not open are fully deleted. Tried downloading 2017 and installing as a test. Same problem. Tried 2018 again as well. Same problem. There has to be something that is blocking the file writing, but I don't know what it is???????
What is posted in the last reply was after a reboot and rerun. This current Mac's apps and data was installed through a time machine data transfer from my old 2008 running Sierra 10.12.???

Thanks, get me posted. The only thing I can think of that is different from her and me is that I have to enter a password when I start up my user name and she doesn't. I think the Turbotax people think I'm goofy.
Went from Mojave 10.14.2 to 10.4.3. Downloaded TurboTax update, but still no go. I am just going to file everything under my wife's sign on and be done with it for this year. Maybe next year will be better....thanks. DWSKINS
Ok here is the screen shot of allowing full disk access. However, see report below, which looks like it's disabled in the Etrecheck report

I'm currently working with Apple Tech Support on the problem and we ran a full diagnostic. I will post again once Apple gets back to me, which should be in a few days. Working with support, I also created another user account with admin permission and Turbotax loaded and launched on that one. So, it does not appear to be a Turbotax (Intuit) issue. I guess I have the same temporary solution as you. This iMac profile was a migration from my previous iMac (2008 running Sierra) via Time Machine.
