I've tried to add different footers to a section in Pages 7.3. No matter what I tried according to manual and previous discussions, Pages applies the change to previous sections.
What am I missing?

Edit: if any answer to questions 3 or 4 is yes,
Menu > Edit > Select All (command A).
Menu > Edit > Copy.
Menu > File > New to open a new blank document.
Menu > Edit > Paste.
Any improvement?

Ensure that for each first page of a section, that you see the following in the Document : Section tab.
In Pages v7.3, I just set three distinctly different footers in a three section document
Mine looks like this, although it is grayed out and I have no access to it.
I still cannot add new footers to a new section without them being added to all sections.

How did you create the document?
Was it a new document created from a Pages 7.3 Template? Which Template?
Was it a document upgraded from a previous version of Pages? Perhaps Pages '09 (Pages 4.3)?
Was it a document created in Word and opened in Pages?
