Stolen Macbook

My MacBook Air was stolen this week and I’m worried about my information getting out. I logged into “Find my Phone” and set it erase, but it hasn’t erased yet. It’s been 3 days (my boyfriend’s who’s MacBook was also stolen) has been opened and erased. I’m worried about mine because I don’t remember if I even turned on Find my Mac or if would work or not to erase my information if I didn’t. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME. I need some peace of mind. It keeps saying “Erase Pending”.

Then maybe you should ask those specific questions...

If you had not turned on Find My Mac, you would not have been able to initiate an erase.

Hopefully, you used a complex password for your account and had file vault enabled. If so, then I wouldn't be overly concerned about your data. The thief probably has no interest in your data anyway.
