TROJAN - "JS/Adware.Agent.AA application" found when creating backup from my iPhone!??

I have an issue with ESET smart security finding a virus, JS/Adware.Agent.AA application, which it deletes every time during syncronization and backup. The issue persists though after every scan.

Worse is that it stops the entire backup and syncronization entirely in the last stage, making it unable to perform it tasks entirely.

I got a work-around-solution for this issue from the Apple customer service where I shut down the network and the Live Protection Eset has, to perform the tasks and then start the protection again. However, this is unsustainable and I need to fix this issue sooner or later.

How do I go about it?

There are no viruses that can affect an iOS device that has not been jailbroken. It's a false positive. Your antivirus software is designed to scan for Windows viruses. iPhones run iOS, which is based on BSD UNIX just as macOS is.

ESET on macOS is worthless, as is any antivirus software on macOS. I didn't say it was worthless on a Windows machine. There are no viruses in the wild that can affect macOS.

I'm using PC, Windows 8, which I've found not to have suffecient protection on it's own (also being a bit PCU-demanding).

Can you verify that this is a False positive?

Also - why have this issue occured now, years into backing up it this way, with ESET?

My entire university uses ESET virus protection - one of the oldest and most trusted universities in Sweden. I doubt that ESET would be "completely worthless". It has saved me numerous of times,..
