File sharing issue with Itunes

I have right the same issue now. Before I completely reseted Ipad2 everything was fine. Now same applications are instaled, but File sharing does not work. Howewer it uploads files to Ipad2, but does not show them in list...

I also report to Apple via telephone. I hope they fix it with new iOS5 and new iTunes.

Hi, the problem is seems to be finally fixed in iTunes 10.5 just released. Can you all confirm?

sadslash, I've updated both iTunes to 10.5 & iOS to iOS5, but still have the same issue... It's sad (((

Yay! I'm now on iTunes 10.5 and iOS 5 and the "house arrest" problem has finally gone away! I can keep clicking back and forth among the app storage lists and never get a blank page.

Why "house arrest"? 😝

Whoops, sorry. It's an iOS process called "house_arrest" that generated console errors when this problem previously occurred. I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit. And iOS 5 on an original iPad.

Well, so Newstech have no problem, and Serg_as have problem yet. I have Win7Ultimate x86 and I have no problem. After you install iTunes 10.5, Windows re-install iPad driver?

Yes, it did reinstall it...

Mmm, this is strange, because I not have the problem yet, and also I can sync wirelessly without problem. Which version of iTunes do you have? 32 bit or 64 bit?

It would be nice if some others who checked in on this thread reported whether the new iTunes/iOS has fixed the problem for them. Please let us know desktop setup.
