File sharing issue with Itunes

I have the same problem, after a few cliks, all the files can't be seen anymore.

No, I tried several things but I failed. I guess (hope) the next update would solve the problem. At this moment, I do transferring within a few clicks!!!

I have the same problem to .... the only way to view the files is to eject the device and connected it again but after going through the files they disappear on the file sharing page when clicking on any app supporting file sharing. Tried to re-install iTunes but the problem is still there.

Same problem.
File sharing window is empty and unable to send any files to my ipad.
Started after last upgrade of itunes; am on a mac.

Help appreciated.

I have the same issue with Windows 7 64 bit / latest iTunes. The apps I am using are Docs to go and Keynote.

If i close iTunes and re-open it, the files show up again. ????? It is a bit annoying.

Any fix yet?

I see the application list in the left window. But impossible to access in those directories

Same problem too. I've been scouring the web for days trying to find more info on this. I can't determine if it started when I upgraded to iTunes 10 or iOS 4 ... But I know it was one of those! All the apps I installed that utilize the file sharing feature exhibit the described behavior ... Stanza, Goodreader, PDF Reader, etc. Does anyone know if Apple is aware??

I've been dragging and dropping and that seems to help, so far.

All of you need to go to http://www.apple.com/feedback and place bug reports. The more people that do it, the higher priority it will most likely be.

Thanks for the link, Jason. I will report it to Apple. In the meantime I will try an app called Dropbox that was recommended in another thread.

I'm still having this problem with my 3GS running iOS 4.2.1 and iTunes 10.1.0.54 for Windows.

I reported this to Apple at their https://bugreport.apple.com page back in September under iOS 4.1. They asked for more details, which I gave them and I haven't heard back since.

Bump. This looks like a longstanding problem with no fix. Very, very annoying.

Here are the apps listed in my File Sharing section. I'm posting them because there may be a common item that causes problems.

Atomic Web, Beatwave, Bluefire Reader, bs-16i, GoodReader, Google Earth, Infinote, iSpreadsheet, Kindle, Kobo, Molecules, Mugician, neu.Draw, Office2 HD (squared), S1MidiTrigger, smartNote Free, Smart Record, Stanza, Sundry Notes, Sylo Synth, VLC, WikiServerPro.

Office2 is most recent.

Have just been fiddling some more, and my perception is that as long as I'm clicking among apps that contain documents, it works fine. But as soon as I click on one app where the documents section is empty, all the apps appear empty.
