Since upgrading to Mohave 10.14.3 (from the previous release) all of my macs (4 of them) are having problems with streaming audio. That is, even in different locations (work, home), I see the rainbow wheel frequently and I have to force quit the application. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Has anyone else encountered this?

Let's also see if you continue to have these issues occur when you restart your Mac in safe mode. If you have any peripherals connected to the Mac, such as an external hard drive, disconnect those as well:
