iPad Pro No Clear Notifications Button

Hey so I’m coming from using my Samsung phone where I frequently check my push notifications and swipe away any that I don’t use. I just got this iPad Pro (2nd gen) and want to keep getting notifications from a lot of my apps, but the problem that I’m having is that when I get too many notifications, I don’t see any way to easily clear all of them from the swipe down notifications center at the top. I looked it up and I think there’s supposed to be an ‘x’ button or a button the says “Clear Notifications” in the upper right corner above the top notification, but I don’t see any of those options. I think I saw it yesterday on some older notifications, but I don’t want to have to wait a while before being able to clear everything away and leaving it cluttered until then. My solution so far has just been swipe away each note individually down the list, but that’s so time consuming. Does anyone know any solutions?
