In Pages docs I used to able to highlight a word, right-click and get spelling suggestions. Now that works only on some Pages docs. Can I set something so that highlight-right-click always offers suggestions on all docs?
I use Mac 10.14.2 and Pages 7.3 (5989) and a logitech bluetooth mouse.

Quit Pages v7.3 from the its application menu.
In your Edit menu : Spelling and Grammar : Show Spelling and Grammar panel, or ⌘-: , change Automatic by Language to your explicit language (e.g. U.S. English). Do this again in System Preferences : Keyboard panel : Text tab : Spelling.
If you have the Spelling and Grammar sub-menu items unselected, then you will get underlines for misspellings. Right-clicking on these will offer you a best guess replacement. If you have both Check Spelling While Typing, and Correct Spelling Automatically selected, then it will pop replacement words when it encounters misspelling or usage issues.

In your Edit menu .... [I guess this means the Safari Edit menu. I made all your changes in that menu and in System Preferences, but the problem persists. On certain Pages docs ... only certain ones .... I can't highlight, right-click & get a little drop-down menu with suggestions. On other Pages docs this works fine as it always has. Do you have any other ideas?
Also, to VikingOSX -- My Pages Spell-check and my Systems pref keyboard are already set to US English.
What I don't get is why this irritation happens with some Pages docs but not others. I created some of these docs years ago on earlier Macbooks and earlier versions of Mac OS. But I haven't kept track of whether it's the old docs that have lost this very convenient form of spell-check (highlight-plus-right-click on a bluetooth mouse).

To quit page just go on top of your screen on the left hand side near the apple on the right hand side of the apple you will see pages click it scroll down to quit pages it will close out pages for you
We were talking about Pages, so implicitly, the Edit menu inferred Pages v7.3 Edit menu — not Safari.
I appreciate your help, but didn't you tell me to quit Pages? How do I "quit Pages from its application menu"?
