Macbook Air Fan spinning for no reason (maybe Chrome Browser is the reason)
(non native English speaker, sorry for mistakes)
Hi,
I found a forum post about this, not solved. ( https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8428190 )
So the problem is, that the MacBook Air 2017 13' active cooling starts for no reason, but it's somehow related to using Chrome Browser.
So mainly i use my MacBook for web developing, so there are few software running in the background, like Docker, Atom, browser tabs (4-6), mysql workbench, sometimes iTunes, so the usual stuff for developing in php.
So is started to notice when is use Safari Browser there is no problem. But when I use Chrome the active cooling starts, but here is the catch...not always, and also the cpu and memory usage are normal, so the active cooling does not make sense.
Sooo, noisy...
Then I quit Chrome, but the fan spinning isn't stops...only if I turn off completely the MacBook, and after turn on and then I don't open Chrome, instead using Safari, and everything is fine again.
So anyone else noticed this? I don't think there is a solution to this problem, only I won't use chrome anymore...
