how to burn a large video with toast titanium 17

Hi all .. I've an issue that I'm not able to solve.

I've an home made video created with Final Cut. I've exported it in two different master file with two different codec and I've obtain a version of 30 GB more or less and a version of 3,5 GB.

I would like to burn this video with some photos also in a mixed mode video and I've tried with Toast Titanium 17 to do that. I was able to create the DVD but when I add the video in Toast (I've tried with both the file) the dimension shown is always of more or less 1,5 GB of disk usage even if one of the file is 3,5 GB and is lower enough to be kept with that quality. I've tried in different way , many parameters offered by Toast but without success.

Can someone help me in creating a mixed mode with Toast (or other similar tool) in order to keep the original Video quality.

The video has the followin characteristics : 1920x1080, codec used to create it in FCP: Apple ProRes 422 HQ.

Thank you

Tom has already touched on the point that regardless of how high the quality of the FCP X export is,

The DVD quality will always be SD (standard definition).

In short, you cannot make an HD (high definition) DVD that will play on a standard DVD player.

Options:

Make an AVCHD disc on a standard red ray DVD.

This type of disc requires a bluray player to view.

Or:

Create a bluray disc. Either FCP X or Toast can do this. (Toast requires the bluray plugin)
