Apple Watch Series 4 is at full charge, but continues to shut off

My Apple Watch Series 4 shuts off shortly after I take it off the charger (at 100% charge) and only turns back on if placed back on the charger. I have tried power cycle, un-pairing & re-pairing with my iPhone X and nothing has worked.

If I press the button, not fail it will start to power up then shuts down again. When I put it on the charger the battery is at 80-40%. It will readily charge to 100% no issues. The watch is 8.6 iOS. Apple watch shuts off right when I take it off of it's charger. I've been having trouble with my Apple watch series 2 recently where everyday when I wake up I take my watch off it's charger and put it on my wrist. 5 minutes later the watch will shut off till it's placed on it's charger again. I know it's old but I didn't think stuff like this would be happening to where I'm basically wearing a dead watch the entire day. Is there any remedy to this?

Apple Watch 3 version shuts off My watch is shutting off for no reason. Battery is still at 60% or more, and completely shuts down. I then have to put it back on the magnetic charger in order to get it to come back on. Any one else having these issues?

As it is new take in to an Apple Store to examine as that doesn’t sound right.
