When I used iMovie there was a split screen feature that had a slide option and it was great, but in Final Cut Pro X I have to move it myself and use key frames and all this other stuff. Is there any way to get that split screen feature in Final Cut Pro, or is it not professional enough 🧐 .

Features: Left, Right, Bottom, Top splits (any *amount* of split, not just at 50%). Border (width, opacity, and color). On Screen Control (constrained depending on direction of split). Pan controls for re-centering and Scale controls for "squeezing".
Since this is an Effect, once you set up the parameters and optional animation, you can Save Effect Preset and reuse your settings over and over with little or no effort on your part.

It is simply called Split Screen. All I would do was drag one video on top of the other and a new option would appear near the crop button. I would press on it and then choose “Split Screen” from the drop down menu. Then more options would appear.
What is the name of this feature/slide option in iMovie?
FCP X has many of the same options but we need some info.
