Recently purchased a mid 2013 15" MacBook Retina on eBay. It had delamination, so it was discounted, but otherwise a very nice machine. I went on line and tried all sorts of things to try to remove it. It came down to Windex, which worked with a lot of rubbing and antibacterial wipes which worked much better. My screen is now shiny but perfectly clear. Antibacterial wipes are clearly the best way to remove delamination. But, I realized that a lot of people might use antibacterial wipes on their MacBooks especially the keyboard. After seeing how well it work to remove the film it is easy to imagine how someone would wipe their keyboard and the close the lid. This may be the cause of a lot of the delamination problems.
