Photoshop CC files crash after Mojave "upgrade"

Is anyone else experiencing issues with PSD files after the Mojave upgrade?

Some files that I created in Photoshop CC (prior to upgrading) keep crashing while now that I am working on them again. It has cost me hours of time and art with multiple files. This so-called "upgrade" has been the worst thing that has ever happened to my Mac. If I could downgrade I would but it's too much of a pain.

I'm wondering if this has been an issue for others, or if there is just something wrong with these particular set of files.

Anyone have any advice on this subject? The problem keeps persisting and I just keep losing work and going in circles. Any help would be appreciated.

I've also noticed that when this happens, Finder becomes non-responsive as well. I'm starting to wonder if Finder is the culprit, causing files that are in the middle of saving to crash since this problem only occurs when I am in the middle of saving something on Photoshop.
