I have Managed to HomeShare my music over my Mac, iPhone and iPad but then it just disappears the next day. Does it only work when connected to the same WiFi ?
Now out and wanted to listen to some music but my library that I shared is not there. All Apple IDs are the same and have software updated all three to the same level Getting frustrated now

You can sync with selected playlists rather than needing to remove anything you want to keep from the library.

That makes a lot of sense, I will go through the library and wean it down. The sync devices bit was greyed out which I thought was strange. Hopefully a tidy up will sort the problem , thanks for your help
