iphone xs max with hearing aids

I have the Iphone Xs Max I also have a pair of Wifi hear aids that use the built in hearing aid function of the Iphone. Before the last two updates that came out I was able to use my Iphone to recieve calls direct into my hearing aids while driving. Total hands free. After the update this function no longer works if I am in a vehicle.

it does not matter if the Iphone has been pared or not Just when I am in any vehile it cuts off my hearing aids.

The way these hearing aids work once pared with te iphone if i receive a call or make one it will go direct via the iphone to my hearing aids.

Can anyone direct me to how to fix this or is it something apple has cut off? How do I get apple to change this for us hearing aid folks?

thanks Bill

When I get in my Ford Expedition the SYNC system which is also paired with my iPhone XS takes control over the Bluetooth connection to the iPhone. When a call comes in I answer with the Phone Button on my steering wheel. After answering the call I can transfer it to my aids by using my Touch screen to select PRIVACY and it transfer the audio to my aids while I still use the microphone in my car. My understanding is that the iPhone can only connect to one Bluetooth at a time. There might be an option in Accessibility on the iPhone to keep it only connected to your aids.

You might try unpairing the iPhone from your cars system so it cannot intercept the call. Sorry for the long post.
