Ms. Julie

if making a photo book on iPhoto, do we still go through the same process in iPhoto and then upload the book to one of the new apps like Mimeo or do we just do the whole design on the new app and skip the iPhoto process?

For a new book in Photos it would be better to start directly with one of the the project extensions you like, once you are comfortable with using it. The Mimeo extension has more formatting options than Photos ever had.

But if you still are using iPhoto, you may want to continue using iPhoto for your books while it is still available. iPhoto has the advantage that you do not need to work online, and you can save a PDF version of your book. You can upload the PDF to Mimeo or Presto Photos for printing.
