I was thinking of my app store user name, not actually the user Id for my computer itself.
Yeah, no, that's not it - it needs the user ID for your User account on your Mac.

What is your question? if this is normal?
Then: yes, it is. Everytime you install anything on your Mac you have tyo give the username that you have on your Mac, and the Admin password that you (should) have given it at setup.
