I receive a link to "send files to Apple Support" and my browser in incompatible. I tried gmail and microsoft edge

I received an email link to send information to Apple support and a message said browser is incompatible. I tried Gmail and Hotmail from link and both said browser incompatible. How can I send info to Apple Support? Instructed to use Chrome or FoxFire but link doesn't copy to them. What do I do?

Sounds phishy to me. Did you initiate the contact with Apple or did you receive this request out of the blue? Do not send any personal or financial information unless you are 100% certain who you are sending it to. An email requesting information can look like it came from Apple but in reality it may have come from thieving crooks anywhere in the world.

Are you sure this is from Apple support? Unless you were in a conversation with support and they asked to see something (which is usually dealt with by them requesting to share your screen, not you sending in things). Additionally, a browser is Safari or Firefox or Chrome - gmail is not a browser and I assume you are using Windows if you use Edge?

So, please explain exactly what OS you are using, hover your cursor over the from email address and see where that came from.
