voice navigation not working on google maps - iphone 6

I have tried (and so has a local tech support) to get the voice to work. All the suggestions on google's site did not work. Voice volume is on, bluetooth is off, settings all as they say they should be. Apple maps is working as is WAZE (neither of which is as good as google maps). The phone seems to vibrate when I would expect it to talk - oh, it used to work just fine!

Apple Maps voice not working I have an Apple iPhone12 mini w/sw version 15.2.1. When starting Apple Maps voice directions the voice works for about the first 10 seconds then stops completely. I’ve tried cycling power but that doesn’t work Help?

Maps no voice commands My iPhone is definitely connected via bluetooth to my car speakers. I can still play music etc from my iPhone but the Voice navigation commands from the Maps app have suddenly stopped coming through the speakers. Any ideas to solve this please? Mackirdy
